Appointments Sub-Committee

To establish an Appointments Sub-Committee to appoint the Head of IT Shared Services.

Minutes:

The Constitution requires that in order to appoint a Chief Officer (as defined in the Officer Employment Procedure Rules in Part 4) the General Purposes Committee was required to establish an Appointments Sub-Committee.  As previously the Sub-Committee would comprise of three members, 2 Conservative (one of whom must be a Cabinet member) and a Liberal Democrat member.

 

Resolved:

That an Appointments Sub-Committee comprising of Councillor Flood Councillor Bailey (subject to availability or Councillor Hamilton) and Councillor A Dowden (subject to availability or Councillor Hurst), be established to consider the appointment of the Head of IT Shared Services.
