Street Trading Consent Determination - Hasan Kebab & Burger

The determination of a street trading consent application.

Minutes:

Consideration was given to a report of the Environmental Health Manager to determine a Street Trading Consent.

All relevant parties were given the opportunity to present their case.

Resolved:

That consent be granted, but limited to a period of 6 months and subject to a condition that trading will cease at 1:00 am, plus such other conditions as the Head of Housing and Environmental Health considers appropriate.

The Committee were most concerned upon hearing of the alleged assault on a Council Officer.  Whilst making no particular judgement on that issue the committee wished to be assured as to the applicant’s future conduct.  The Head of Housing and Environmental Health was therefore requested to write seeking assurances about the applicant’s future conduct in relation to Council Officers.
