PROPOSAL

Request for Environmental Impact Assessment Screening Opinion under Regulation 6 of the Town and Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 for proposed redevelopment of the existing building

AMENDMENTS

CASE OFFICER

Emma Jones

The Officer’s recommendation as per the agenda was proposed by Councillor Budzynski and seconded by Councillor Z Brooks.  Upon being put to the vote, the motion was carried.

That the Local Planning Authority adopts a Screening opinion to the effect that the proposed development described as “proposed redevelopment of the existing building” does not constitute EIA development for the purposes of Regulation 5 of the ‘Town & Country Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017’ and as such a planning application does not need to be accompanied by an Environmental Statement.
